You'll see the following animals roaming our property and the surrounding properties: coyotes, foxes, deer, jack and cotton tail rabbits, skunks, squirrels, and though very rare, cougars. If they leave us alone, we leave them alone. I throw out bird seed in winter. And, I think there is an old saying that you plant one or two for you but plant a third for the critters.
ReplyDeleteFor a suburban setting, my home has a nice abundance of wildlife. I keep a little floating ramp in the swimming pool to make sure creatures that fall in have a way to get out.
ReplyDeleteMy wildlife nemesis seems to be wasps. I go to a lot of trouble to keep them from nesting in places where people go.
