I'm going out on a limb to get this conversation started. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhen I was very young, I remember Fred Flinstone driving Wilma to the hospital to give birth to Pebbles. Somehow, I'd gotten it into my head that babies were in the stomach, and that all babies had to be removed -- or rather born -- by...cutting open the stomach. I'm not sure when I got all the correct information straight in my mind, but every time I saw a pregnant woman after that, for years, I remembered being anxious about them cutting open her stomach at some point so the baby could be born.
