Oh Goddess... actually I have some remarkably young memories... my youngest truly vivid memories are:
ReplyDelete1. Bouncing up and down in my crib when the first song I remember ("Downtown" by Petula Clark) was being played on the radio. I can date this, because the song was released in November 1964, and was an immediate hit with a lot of radio airplay, so I would have been around 1 year old then.
2. Being circumcised... no NOT the actual operation(!), but I do remember being in hospital for it (it was done at... 18 months? 2 years?) - I vividly remember lying in my crib, a nurse brought me a type of candy called 'dolly mixtures' which I disliked, so I managed to 'lose' them by dropping them into a potty beneath my crib!
