From before you were born
Think of all the stuff you own. Some of your things were manufactured recently, while some of them have been around for a long time. Which of your possessions are older than you are?

We once got a box of mac & cheese from a food bank that was older than I was. Yeah. And then we threw it out.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I have stuffed animals that were given to me when I was born, they're a bit older than I am. :)
The oldest thing I own is a typewriter from around 1920.
ReplyDeleteOh... an IBM card sorter from the 1950s, my mum's butter dish... her cookbook... ditto... quite a few books... old family photos... two or three of my jet engines... probably a few other things I can't think of right now. I have several computers that are *very nearly* as old as me, but none that are older. Yet! :-)
